La Chocolaterie Moderne was founded in 1948 in Tourcoing (France). After some fifty years on the historic Tourcoing site and a devastating fire, a new, larger, modern and functional workshop was built in Roncq.
The production and packaging lines for chocolate truffles, chocolate-covered marshmallows and confectionery have been gradually installed in line with product innovations. They are constantly optimized for product quality and employee comfort.
The 10,000m2 workshop is organized to meet seasonal peaks at Christmas and Easter, and can produce up to 7,500T of truffles and 2,300T of marshmallows per year (i.e. 2.5M truffles and 1M marshmallows per day).
